About Hugo Huesca

I’m Hugo Huesca, a fiction author.

I’ve loved reading since as far as I could remember. My writing has followed hand in hand with that interest. My elementary school notebooks were filled with more stories than lesson notes.

My non-published works include fantasy, mystery, and horror, but it’s with Rune Universe that I’ve taken the plunge into the exciting world of indie writing.

My own story

I come from a culture that doesn’t believe authors can be really successful by writing full-time. I hope to prove them wrong.

As a reader, I love great fiction in general and will try anything at least once. My favorite genres are Science Fiction, Cyberpunk, Horror, Fantasy, Technothrillers, litRPG, and Historical fiction.

Hugo Huesca is the author of Rune Universe, a cyberpunk techno-thriller. He lives by the beach and likes to write while he gazes at the sea and daydreams of Lovecraftian horrors.

Some of his favorite books are Snow Crash, Neuromancer, Valis, The Dark Tower, and The Name of the Wind.

He loves a story filled with vibrant characters and he’s always striving to have them in his books.
